Arctic Fox can custom design and provide complete "stand alone" systems for mobile and stationary equipment. Systems operate off existing DC battery and fuel supply to produce maximum heat output.
For over two decades, Arctic FoxÒ has produced stainless steel heat exchangers for diesel fuel and fluids. Both in-line and in-tank heaters utilize engine coolant in efficient heat exchangers to prevent fuel gelling. Hydraulic fluid warmers use the same principle to promote smooth operation. Other applications include: heat exchangers for various liquid to liquid and liquid to gas including reservoirs for grease oil, water and other liquids. Further applications include paints, asphalt oil, waste products and perishable products for flow ability in the coldest weather.
Diesel engines and hydraulic systems are free to operate at maximum efficiency with the Arctic FoxÒ System. Benefits include freedom from fuel blending and an added economy of using #2 diesel fuel year-round. In hydraulic applications, Arctic FoxÒ users extend pump life and cycle their equipment faster for true cost savings. Thermostatic options assure protection when overheating fuel or fluid is a concern.
In addition to stainless steel heat exchangers, Arctic FoxÒ offers electric heating pads and other system options. While most applications are covered by our standard product line, custom designs are available. DIESEL FIRED COOLANT HEATERS
Diesel fired coolant heaters available from Arctic FoxÒ allow the engine to be preheated before starting without the use of external power. The hot coolant produced can also be routed through Arctic Fox heat exchangers to warm fuel, hydraulic reservoirs and batteries. Many models and installation accessories are available.
BATTERY HEATERS
Increases available cold cranking amps and extends effective battery usage by reducing required battery recharge time.
DIESEL FUEL IN-TANK FUEL WARMERS
Hot Foxä In-tank fuel warmers are stainless steel units that install in a sending gauge size opening and surround the integrated fuel standpipe with coolant for maximum heat rise. In addition, heat radiates from the unit’s outside surface to warm fuel in the tank. Low 1 ¼ " profile above the tank surface is compatible with most applications. TWHF series Hot Foxä includes auxiliary fuel draw for diesel fired coolant heaters. Optional shut off thermostats are available.
DIESEL FUEL IN-LINE FUEL WARMERS
Choose the many sizes of stainless steel in-line fuel warmers for effective temperature rise. Units can be equipped with by-pass or separate shutoff thermostats.
ELECTRIC FLUID RESERVOIR HEATERS
Reservoir heaters are available in 12 and 24 volt DC and 110 and 220 volt AC. Some common applications include warming hydraulic rams, reservoirs, oil pans and diesel fuel tanks. Once applied, the all-weather heating pad is permanent. The pad allows for faster cold-weather starts, reduced engine wear, faster hydraulic cycling and reduced pump wear. Its easy peel and stick application can be installed anytime and everywhere.
HYDRAULIC FLUID HEATERS
Our proven heaters route a stainless loop through the tank for effective fluid warming while reducing damaging hydraulic pump cavitation and blown seals. Standard and custom are available to fit many hydraulic tank configurations. Weld-on flanges provide secure mounting and models with thermostats are available.
OTHER FLUIDS
Various styles of Arctic FoxÒ heaters are available. External pad, In-tank and In-line can all be combined to achieve the desired heat rise for your application.
